WIndows Defender Manager in Habitat
You will find the Defender tab under the Client management Window in ConnectWise Automate. From this view you can manage the Antivirus and Malware preferences for each computer under management and get a detailed current status for all agent under client running Windows.

The computer list provides a menu that you can select management functions from.
- Open agent console Opens the Automate computer console for the selected computer
- Poll agent Schedules the Defender Maintenance script to run on computer as soon as computer is able.
- Push preferences to agent If you make any changes to the preferences using the preference tab provided, once you made all the changes you wanted to preferences, you must then push the preferences down to the computer for the preferences to take affect.
- Quick scan agent Launches a quick scan on computer
- Full scan agent Launches a full virus and malware scan on computer
- Remove all acite threats Executes the Windows Defender Threat Removal process
- Update signatures Forces computer to update the Windows Defenders Virus and Malware signatures from Microsoft.
- Offline Scan This forces a reboot of the computer and then triggers a Anitvirus scan using Windows Defender before the bootup process completes
- View Threats This is the active list of virus and malware detection on the computer. You can export this view to Excel (CSV) from the threat viewer.

Preferences can be modified using the Preference tab in the main client view. Select a computer from the computer list , then select the preferences tab and modify the preferences. Once complete, remember to push the prefrences down to the computer using the menu ite provided in the computer list.

Manage Defender terminal displays the actions taken to complete any request you make from the menu items provided in the computer list.

When a computer does not report any threats, this is the view the threat viewer will display.

When a computer shows an alarm, the threat viewer will display the threats in detail and in chronological order.
