This is an amazing plugin that has made my life so much easier to stay up to date with LT patching.
There is however a gaping hole in the plugin's usability and flexibility.
Is it possible to change the way the plugin is configured? Instead of going through all clients and "ticking the box", can the plugin be made to run against selected Ignite groups, ie, Managed 24x7 and Managed 8x5?
Also, there is a significant amount of info presented by the plugin for clients that are NOT selected, ie, critical hotfixes missing, WUA agent out of date, hotfix errors etc. Can this be changed to only display / gather / record data for the selected groups or clients?
These changes would make Patch Remedy a more flexible solution... particularly the ability to run against groups.
I've had techs bring new clients into our managed offerings, but they don't have access to the Patch Manager to change the config, and a lot of the time, they don't tell me about the new client. Running against Ignite groups would remove the need to reconfigure patch remedy each time a client is added or removed.
Let's take advantage of the LT automation and group structure to achieve a truly awesome plugin.
