i have a problem with the scan cycle. hosts are never scanned automatically. What does scan cyle do ?
There's no schedule for the scan script ?
Which script should be exucuted when i manually start host scan from the plugin ?
in my installation it executes
ESX Health Monitor Maintenance
python 2.7
but newer is
P4A ESXi Health Monitor Service
python 3.0
Maybe there is an installation-problem with the change from stand-alone to habitat ` ?

Well if it works manually when pushed then the scanners working and python version should be fine. (Although a update is in order).
The daily scans are executed by the DBAgent as a ISYNC that schedules the daily script. So same script just instead of manually scheduling it , it does it automaticlly for you daily then removes the scheduled logs so as not to overwhelm the script logs table.
Are you using the standalone VMware plugin tool or the one embeded in Habitat?
