We had an issue that when sources or UNC caches were used on an agent and the tech wanted to return it back to use the default repositories, it was a manual process on each agent.
We fixed this with a new EDF and Group that will look at agents that do not currently have a source or UNC EDF set. And will verify/reset agent back to the default repository setting (chocolatey.org).
To Use: Open the agents EDF manager and select the Chocolatey EDF group. In this group uncheck the following 2 checkboxes. This will prevent the plugin from rejoining the agent to the sources or UNC in the future. Make sure the P4A Standard Deployment is unchecked. Then allow 4 to 8 hours for the automation to find agent and reset it. Once automation is completed and agent is reset to defauts, the EDF P4A Standard Deployment should now show as checked as automation has set this EDF.

You will now have a new sub group that agents will join temporarily, if the agent needs to be reset to defaults. Agents that are current members of this group are in the process of verification / reset of the default repository. They should auto leave this group after they complete the reset and the EDF "Chocolatey Standard Deployment" will now be checked.

You will have a new EDF, This EDF is automatically set by automation and does not need to be checked by anyone. If it is checked, then the agent has been verified to be using the default repository. If you uncheck this box, it will cause the plugin to recertify that agent is using default repos. The plugin will then recheck this box once the verification/reset has completed. Manually checking this box prevents this verification. This box should be unchecked if sources or UNC are being used as agent will not be "Standard"
