New Patch Remedy content loads slow

Hello to all, new to Patch Remedy and looking forward to get more out of this plugin to resolve some patching issues. We enabled this yesterday and noticed that the tabs loaded content very slow and at times the screens would display a Not Responding message. I understand that some of this may be due to the size of clients / agents.
We are running an instance with 1,098 agents and a full scan was executed yesterday evening and this am we are still experiencing the same issues with content loading taking some time. This can cause issues as loading or pushing some of the buttons to perform an action will not respond as expected and we may experience a situation where something may be enabled / disabled incorrectly.
We are running this on prem and when I review the server status I don't see any high memory or cpu usage. Are there any recommendations or things to look for to improve performance?
