Adding Firewalls and Enabling Scanning

To add new firewalls to a client or enable/disable scans

You client list has a menu that can be accessed by selecting either a client or firewall from client list.

The Client List Menu allows you to add and remove firewalls from the clients list.
  • Red Dot - Firewall does not have the API installed or the API has an update available.
  • Green Dot - Firewall has API installed and API is up to date.
Enabling Scans is passive and makes no changes to the firewall. When enabled a scan is preformed by a Windows agent at the location where device is located. This agent is selected by looking for the most resent online agent with the highest Windows version. The scan takes a minute to complete and returns a XML Backup of the device along with its current configuration data as displayed in the plugin.

Scan intervals are currently every 4 hours but this will change in next release as we will provide a control for the scan interval of every firewall.
