Help.
I am getting alerts for other issues, but I am not getting alerts for the host power state off.
I have tested and can reproduce the issue.
Should this be working?

If you are asking if we alert when ESX Hardware is off, then the answer is yes and no. We do not alarm that a is host down or offline but we would start at some point alerting to stale records. This happens many hours later so it would not be a good offline alert system but does let you know that its no longer able to collect data.

I would recommend setting up a ping test in Automate to monitor the IP address for activity and if fails alert as possible offline host.
