No Tab at server

Post by runningback81 »

Hi,

i installed 1.0.7.
Tables are created.
if i hit rescan Hosts at the view my debian 8 server is running the script.

in plugin_sw_apt_get_installed_packages the are rows with updates.
plugin_sw_apt_get_motd is empty

I cant see the tab at the debian server an no server at the apt-get view.

Thank you

Justus

What version of LT are you?

Also post a screenshot of the OS type shown in LT computer console, we look for the name "debian" inside the OS type and if not there we hide tab.

And there is the issue,

OS type says "Linux (Run level 0)"

No debian in the office OS type field. That is causing tab to hide.

So let me go add a quick flag into system that will you to adjust the hide attribute. Then you can toggle on or off the hide tab feature.

Ok we have posted a new build (1.0.8)

---1.0.8---
Fixed issues with systems not having debian or ubuntu in OS data field causing Tab to to show in Computer Console
Fixed issues with LabTech not returning data due to output to StandardError.
Fixed issues with Python3 or lack of Python silently failing data collection.
Updated script to look for Python3 as an alt path to python.
Updated auto script scheduler to now look for linux in OS only and set script to verify if Apt-Get is available.
