Habitat comes with a new plugin to assist you in database maintenance based on the Automate communities input.
You can enable different maintenance services that will complete daily a set of maintenance tasks. You can select to enable or disable any of the tasks and only run what you want on the database.
There is also access to the function editor (beta) that allows you to modify the current functions or add new ones.
From this view you can select to manage the different function groups and functions
Currently Database Maintenance functions are integrated into Automate to execute once per day in or around 12 am.
Other function types are scheduled to be integrated into automate in the near future.

Re: Automate Database Maintenance tool
I have enabled the database maintenance task groups and made sure the functions are enabled within the groups but they don't appear to be running or doing anything?
Is there a way to trigger these manually? In particular I am trying to clean up a very large number of completed tickets.
Is there a log for these tasks?

Yeap it is logged, Logs on the server at C:\Program Files\LabTech\Logs\plugin_Habitat.txt
DB Maintenance runs daily at 12 AM so look in logs for that time frame as seen below.

Re: Automate Database Maintenance tool
If you want a running cleanup daily then use the DB maintenance. You can run a manual dump of that data using the Habitat SQL analyzer, and it is instant.
