400+ Scripts = "P4A Patch Remedy Scans"

Post by douglas2021 »

When I scroll through the selection list in the process of calling or scheduling a script I noticed that there were a bunch of these, today I thought to go look and see what was up and there are 482 of the same name, different IDs. But I can't open two at the same time which is odd. Only the lowest numbered one had a reference that it was being run from somewhere else, but I only opened about 10. Are these safe to delete, is there a way to mass delete them? Or maybe a way to uninstall/cleanup/reinstall? Attached snip of what I see.

Patch Remedy does a daily check of the computers current status in patching by using a Automate script. The automation function should delete the script log entries daily as part of the next round of scans. This means that tomorrow you may see the same 400+ scans logs but they will be for the current day and should be removed on the following cycle.

This is perfectly normal for MSP to see the daily automated scripts working in these views. If the count starts to exceed the count of managed computers in any give 48 hour period then there maybe an issue to seek our support with.
