Re: Habitat issues after most recent Automate and Habitat updates

Having an issue with the recent update as well. Since the update we've had alerts coming in for the same few machines that domain/user has been added to the administrators group on past dates (few months and some 1-2 years ago). Even if those users has already been removed still getting the alerts ...

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

Hi,

Apologies for the late response on this. We had to rebuild a computer to test this out as we didn't have any other domain computers available. So this a newly imaged domain computer. I have added the cache folder, shared it out and configured it in Automate. Afterwards made it as the caching ...

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

Thanks for the clarification on this. The reason we had the share folder setup was for other plugins and updates that weren't managed by Habitat.

I'll reach out to my manager then to setup the caching agent for each client.

But how about the issue with the packages still not being updated on the ...

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

I'm a bit confused here. You have client locations setup with caching shares but no assigned caching agents for those locations? They are all set to use direct Chocolatey access?

Yes, they are all set to use direct Chocolatey access.

They don't have the # symbol though. They are configurated as ...

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

Hi,

Apologies for the late response on this.

I tested out that script locally on the server via Powershell ISE and it was able to complete. Packages has been copied to the cache folder.

Answers to your questions are below:

How many clients have you deployed caching to thus far? We should have ...

But I checked the shared folder and it still doesn't have any of the application package.

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

Thank you for that link.

As for installing the file, do we just run the installer in the Automate server?

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

Sorry I haven't had the chance to do this due to some urgent issues.

Thank you for this. I'll be trying this out next week.

I wanted to ask for instructions on how we could manually update our Habitat plugin in Automate? I was informed that it did the update automatically before but it doesn't ...

Re: Habitat 3rd party application manager not working

That's good.

I'm confirming with my manager if I can exclude that Share folder. I will update you back later on this.

I'm not familiar with the Habitat Powershell Console. I'm assuming that it is the screenshot below?

Habitat Powershell Manager.jpg

And that I would run it on just the normal ...
