we were having an issue with out package manager checked the logs and got a few errors also found none oif our new linux servers are showing in package manager found this.

Yes the policy I set it about 2 months ago against the location, and these and 2 other agents are new checkins, and they also have not picked up the policy applied to the location, do I need to reapply the policy when new agents check in?

new agents failing to pick up polcy assigned to location.
this agent was installed on 11/11/2024.
its been in a location with the linux update policy for 15 days as of 11/26
it still have not picked up the linux update policy, now if I force it it will pick up the policy, but should it not ...

and looks like your change fixed it as seeing everyhting that has the policy applied patched on 9/1 which is the correect date

Policy not patching systems
seem to have an issue, we are trying to patch our ubuntu 22.4 servers.
this was working prevousily we have a policy to patch them every sunday at 5 am.
they have listed patches available but have not patched in two weeks except when i manually pushed patches to soem of then on 8/14.

setup a policy verified the edf's and I see the update script running but the updates do not seem to be getting applied.
I get this output form the update script:

when updatijng with Package Manager, does it lever Automate, IE does it looks to what patches are approved in automate and push them on the selected day and time.
or does it reach out to the system and just install all patches available form windows update?

thankl you for the update, the only issue I sem to have now is the area for assigned policies doesn;t show any assigned policies even though I have polciies assigned to systems.
