Disable desktop shortcut creation

Is this possible? We're just trialling the plugin but it seems to be the main drawback compared to Ninite at the moment.

We do not have any control over the package make up, The package maintainers are controlling what settings are pushed with installs. A work around would be to create a simple script to look for a offending file names on users desktops, can be deployed to scan for and remove any icons not wanted.

You can also communicate with the package maintainers to see if they would be willing to adjust their packages or you can at anytime make your own packages setup the way you want and push those.

So there are several means to help control actions in Chocolatey.
