I know this is a dumb question but I just haven't seen any details and I wanted to confirm exactly what auto uninstall does? I assume that it will automatically remove applications if you mark them to excluded?
Does anyone know for sure?
Auto Uninstall
Re: Auto Uninstall
I tried to find more detailed information on this from Chocolatey.org site but didn't find much.
https://github.com/chocolatey/choco/wik ... sUninstall
Basically it is a feature inside Chocolatey Framework that helps with package uninstalls if just issuing an uninstall to package fails. If you enable this option then uninstalls you do in the system will invoke a feature that will force it to be removed even if package did not come with a uninstaller.
These are all features of the frame work that can be turned on or off based on your needs.

Re: Auto Uninstall
Makes sense but now feature request. It would be great if there was an option to have the system remove packages if you set the application to exclude.
Re: Auto Uninstall
hmm.. That's actually a pretty good idea. It would make a improvement to package maintenance.
