This is probably simple but why is my agents list blank?

If you close and reopen the plugin is your list still blank?

It should add agents when you check the server or workstation boxes.

Checking today and the list is blank.

Ok lest have a look at your logs for the console.

C:\ProgramData\LabTech Client\Logs and send me the most resent log and if a SQL.log file exists then that log to.


Next we can capture the SQL requests while using the plugin by enabling the Control Centers SQL Spy. Have you used this tool in Automate before?

It can be enabled in the Control centers Dashboard under Control Center. (See image below)





This will cause a window like this to launch when you open the control center and login.




Now when you launch the plugin , as you navigate the plugin it will spit out SQL queries to this SQP windows so you can see what its trying to grab for data.

What we want to see is what query is returned when you open this windows with no agents listed. Then uncheck and recheck the workstations box and capture the SQL that was generated from that action.

Ok the issue with agents showing up is that the maintenance service has not run yet and picked up the new client config.


Set the plugin to Rabbit mode for this to happen faster if in version 1.0.27 or older.

We changed this so it populates agents when you select the enable workstation or server checkbox. We also fixed a license address issue with 1.0.26.0

See if this new build resolves all your issues.
