Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
Once you upgrade to the version 4 beta... is there a way to revert back to the version 3 production version if the beta is just not working right?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
And update to my last post. It appears that the failure is actually happening when attempting to robocopy to the %tempdir%\windows10UG folder and failing out because there is not folder. But I am not seeing in the error logs why it wouldnt create that folder
Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
Yes, upgrade to build 1.0.4.7, several fixes today have been made. Had a typo and a bad file location is scripting.
Fixed and testing.

Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
Hah! Now I feel stupid for doing all my testing.
I thought maybe Webroot was causing an issue writing to the Temp directory, that was not the case.
Updating now and will test and report back.

Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
Cubert,
Forward progress! It actually robocopied and got to the point that it could actually run the setup.exe. Then it shutdown because the OS Version is incompatible. Then it hit me that this particular test machine is 32bit windows 10. Does this win10ug feature only support x64? Or is the issue that I ran into in my first post causing this(the windows media creation tool only allowed me to choose 'Windows 10' to create the ISO and not 'Windows 10 PRO'.)

Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
Cubert,
I finally got a chance to try 1.0.4.9 and I am getting the same error I was getting on 1.0.4.5, it is failing to find the Setup.exe file.
I also get this now when double clicking on the script to open it up:

Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
The script ID updated after you restarted the DBagent, Close and reopen console and try to edit script. Should pick up the new ID.
This script now fires off the first agent 50 minutes before the rest of the agents, allowing the first agent time to download and cache the ISO file.
We also added a User Image URL configuration so the User Message gets your logo image as a header if you provide one, else it defaults to Patch Remedy.
1.0.4.10

Re: Patch Remedy Version 4 Beta
We have released 1.0.4.11 that adds in 32 and 64 bit support, we have a new plugin configuration interface to customize the install process and files used along with location of ISO. Really simplified the process so that you should be able to get rolling really quick.
Make sure to re-read the first post to get download and to read about the setups.
Enjoy!
