ESX Alerting

Post by bcockrell »

We have enabled alerting for the monitor. The internal monitor was created. Right now one of the hosts is reporting an error but we have not gotten an alert. How do we setup the alerting?

OK, Here is the basics.

Check your Query results to see what is being picked up. If you're seeing errors in your logs Main View of the ESX Monitor and not seeing it here then post back what you are seeing with screenshots.

:::Update:::

As of build 4.0.0.30 the monitor has changed to a RAW SQL monitor. Anyone upgrading above 4.0.0.30 should disable the monitor in the plugin and then re enable the monitor to update the monitor after the plugin upgrades.
