Hi All,
Three questions:
- Is there an activity log or something that I can check to see when Patch Remedy has performed an action?
- I see "Successful Installs Today" always at 2 or 3 every day, however when I click on the "Patch Success" tab, it only shows 1 PC in the last 7 days. Shouldn't it be showing me all the systems that it was supposed to have patched?
- Under "System Patch Percentages", the Patch % column for all systems is currently at 0.00%. Most also have 0 in the "Installed" column and there are some that has 1 or 2 in the "Missing" column. According to LT, our patch compliance for last 90 days is sitting at 93% so I'm not sure what this is reporting for.
Let me know if you'd like me to add some screenshots or more information.
Thanks!

For your patch percentages What version of LT are you on and if on LT11 are you pre or post Patch Manager update to 11?
If you're on LT 11 and are still using LT10.5 patching you will need to set this flag.
Which should give you accurate #'s

Re: Activity Logs and counts for Installs Attempted/Successful
The Successful installs today is a SQL query against the `commands` table looking for any system with a command = 100, status = 3 and output like "downloaded and installed successfully"
The Systems that have successfully installed patching is the same query against the `h_commands` table which is the long term data history archive for LabTech.
The commands table only houses a days worth of data where h_commands keeps what every your retention policy is set for.

On the LT server...
c:\programfiles \ labtech\logs\ISync.log or plugin_patchremedy.log
and c:\windows\ltsvc\patchremedy\

Re: Activity Logs and counts for Installs Attempted/Successful
Thanks Cubert,
We are using LT11 patching so that box isn't ticked.
We are also on Labtech hosted so I don't think I have access to those log files. I would love it if PR had a summary page which tells me activity over the last 24 hours, week and month. Something like a summary with "WUA's Updated", "MK Patch Fixes applied" etc
PS patch remedy is fantastic, it has brought our compliance way up and customers love us for it! Thanks!

We are thinking of adding in a checklist of fixes and patch tests that you can then select what AutoUpdate actually does and expand or contract what it does based on your needs.
Some neat stuff!
