Webroot

Post by vkent39 »

Is anyone else using Webroot? If so what global overrides did you make for Chocolatey? We haven't had any issues before but yesterday something must have updated because about 1000 machines got alerts blocking most of the Chocolatey directories. If anyone is aware what directories will Chocolatey create or use? I see it creating quite a few different locations.

Are you using Choco2 and Webroot?

I would suggest creating folder exclusions for C:\Chocolately and C:\programdata\chocolately and see if that helps.

Seems it was just a one time thing. Not sure if it was a specified update but after that flood of alerts from Webroot we haven't had an issue since.
