Re: Habitat Local Administrators group Monitor (LAGM)

So... What is the monitor supposed to do? I enabled it, and it found all the Administrators group memberships for all our systems. I then created a new user on my laptop, added it to the admin group, and did a manual scan on my machine, and it then shows up in the list. But that's it. It's not in Vi...

Re: Habitat 3rd Party Application Management

Yes, an EDF would probably suffice. (If not long term, it'll be a quick-fix for now). Can I have my cake and eat it? And make the EDF "Don't auto-deploy 3rd party updates"? (ie, still allow the systems to be scanned. (and thus easily reported on), and through that also allowing manual depl...

Yes, version .37 fixed it for me too. It's amazing what typos can do ;)

Thanks!

Re: Habitat 3rd Party Application Management

I would actually prefer not to enable this at the client level, but rather at the location level. We support life sciences companies, and we split office agents from lab agents using a separate Location. And lab machines do not get touched. Period. We do not patch them, we do not update them. (aside...

Re: Windows Upgrade Assistant

Just ran it on a colleague's system, and here is some more feedback for future improvements: - I'm in EST, he is in PST. When I told Habitat to Upgrade Now, it scheduled it for 3 hours from now. So there's some time-zone accounting that's not accurate. (ie, it is 11:00 for him, 14:00 here, and the i...

Windows Upgrade Assistant

I just tried to run an upgrade on my workstation (That I've been logged in to all day). One of the first few log entries shows this: No user logged into desktop console, exiting user input and continuing upgrade. Checking the agent in Automate, that seems accurate: AutomateAgent.png Can the script u...

Re: Habitat Printer Status Tool

For the Exclusion list, is there a wildcard character? Neither * nor % work at this time.
If not, can you include that in a future release please?

Re: Habitat 3rd Party Application Management

Clicking the Enable Workstations (or Enable Servers) button, does that automatically also update all the agents with upgrade-able software found? Or does that just initiate the official scan, and then we can move from there? I'm a little hesitant to just turn that on and have it go nuts without test...

Re: Habitat Stalled Agents Tool

Would it make sense for this plugin to use the value that's specified in the Location window as "Login to use for Administrator Access"? As it could be different per location (We had one or two customers where they acquired or merged with another customer, and thus had two different domain...
