Re: What is the significance of AppVersionScanner.ps1
I'm not sure I'm getting this. The error (for us) is in the P4L Chocolatey for Labtech Maintenance Service script in line 95 of the ELSE section. It basically throws the script out of the UPDATEAPPSVERSIONS section without doing anything. The PS1 file never gets created anywhere. I'm trying to debug...

Re: Password Notification Expire calculation enhancement
On that note, we have customers asking us for more notifications. Right now it's a single notification at X days. However we have one asking for notifications at 14, 7, 4, 2, 1 days. (A little excessive, but with remote work, and the VPN no longer working once their password expires, there's some va...

Re: Installation on single machine
The per machine license doesn't work for us with 3000 agents out there.
I've partially worked around this by letting the plugin deal with the chocolatey deployment and reporting, and wrote a script that just runs the choco install <app> command.
But that's a workaround.

Exclude Locations
Would it be possible to exclude Locations from deployments? We support life sciences companies, and we have an Automate Location for the office machines which we manage normally, and we have an Automate Location for the Lab machines, which we don't touch, because the slightest thing could cause them...

Re: Installation on single machine
I second this request. Especially in the initial testing phase, I'd like to not just blanket rollout a new app to all systems.
Is there any way to do a more granular install?

Re: Password expiration script
Sorry, it's been a bit busy the past week.
I just updated it and cleared the LDAP directory root, and it grabbed all domain accounts as expected. Works like a charm.
Thanks!

Password expiration script
Hey, did some debugging on this, as I could not get it to work. Finally figured out that CN=Users only works for the built in Users OU. When customers have custom OUs, it's OU=Users,OU=CustomerFolder, etc. (Learning LDAP and AD on the fly) Now that I have that part figured out, I have this running f...

Re: 3rd party app - chocolatey install
So, yes that first one is fixed. But the second one is still broken (line 8 also needs to increase from 4 to 5)
Was trying to troubleshoot why this wasn't working on a new system, and the .39 update overwrote my manual fix.

Re: Habitat Local Administrators group Monitor (LAGM)
Hey, one of our account managers has started using this to report back to customers, and he noticed that for two Macs, where there was data listed last time he ran the report, today the entry was cleared. (ie, a few days ago it said Admin, root and username were a member, but today it's not listing ...

Re: Habitat Plugin Server Functions
This is awesome, and a great extension to the Habitat plugin. Looking forward to seeing other potential functions for this. One I'm being asked for right now is a 3rd party update push. Specifically: We have x apps enabled at the global level. But one customer only wants us to update their Zoom clie...
