Re: Ubuntu 22.4 (Linux) not Updating
Also if this is a common issue across your environment, You may try excluding that java5 package during updates. Manuall run the following command on any agent to have it auto exclude a given package https://askubuntu.com/questions/99774/exclude-packages-from-apt-get-upgrade sudo apt-mark hold <pack...

Re: Ubuntu 22.4 (Linux) not Updating
The CDROM errors are not a big deal, that's just saying it can not find the "source" you installed from. It then goes on to look at the public repository and finds data as needed. Your issues is the following: Following packages have unmet dependencies : connectwisecontrol -9da030377df9e10...

Re: Client Console- Update Specific Package
Sure enough, someone (likely me) left some test data in the Deploy Sources script. So no matter what or how many sources you have it always used the same test data and not your live data. I have fixed this in 1.0.0.14 available here https://delivery.shopifyapps.com/-/4364539deebe08c8/c8588f733544033...

Re: Client Console- Update Specific Package
Ok that's a twist! Let me have a look at our code to see if we left a hardwired variable in the mix. There maybe a line that didn't comment out during build.

Re: Client Console- Update Specific Package
Keep in mind that just using the Chocolatey default location that comes with Chocolatey installs by default will be good enough for most applications and that a source is only really needed when you have a large amount of agents coming from a single IP address (gateway location).

This is your problem: Unable to load the service index for source https://chocolatey.rmmmax.com/. Reason: Unknown? You can not use (chocolatey.rmmmax.com) as a source? This system is chocolatey a proxy we setup to demonstrate how to use a proxy to prevent the 409 Errors received when using public re...

Re: Policy to auto-enable Bitlocker
No not currently, I have discussed the possibility of creating agent policies that would define what agents should receive what protectors but we had pushback that any type of failure in the process could BRICK the PC and with many MSP managers not knowing BitLocker thoroughly, a misconfiguration co...

Re: Install KB from List
Just to be clear, The function worked as expected but the acknowledgement pop up has wrong text displayed? This is not a uncommon mistake. I often copy and paste a code snippet for things like this. It's the same command set with just a different option being requested, I must of missed the response...

Re: the object reference has not been set to an instance of an object
APM is pretty cool if you are into package managers. YUM and APt-Get are the pallbearers of package managers. Homebrew came up through the ranks to be the Mac package manger, and Chocolatey.org team worked with Microsoft to create a NuGet based package manager for Microsoft Windows. I asked GPT to d...
