The plugin missed an issue.
VMWare and the iDRAC show the hardware issue. The plugin says it just updated and is Ok and Good.

ESX Health Monitor is off and when turn on turns it self back off.

This does not mean that patching didn't actually happen, barring offline agents, just that there could be an issue that caused patching to not take place. this, exactly. Patching requires rebooting, sometimes before and often after patches are applied. Rebooting while a user is logged in is dangero...

As for #3 of your list. OK is just that ESX is A-OK! why is the icon not the green check mark? the grey ellipses otherwise indicate an error so having the same icon for some OK statuses keeps me from doing a quick visual scan to check error state. Also, it would be nice to have the plugin generate ...

I know sorting a datagrid is a pain.
