Re: Build 1.0.8 released

I have loaded this plugin and am doing some testing on it. It seems to work pretty well and it is neat seeing the machines show up in the view if they are executing commands and then disappear when they are done. We have a lot of devices and quite often a bunch are offline so I am not too concerned ...

Re: First Release Build 1.0.10

Just an FYI, I sent in a ticket yesterday for some of the issues I have been running into.

Re: First Release Build 1.0.10

It is tricky to say whether it it is working or not. The main view in the Update Manager says that most of the servers don't have any missing updates but does say all of them, except one require a reboot. I ran yum check-update on a couple machines and they do say there are no updates from what I ca...

Re: First Release Build 1.0.10

Has there been any more development on this plugin? I would love to help with some more testing and development if needed.

Let me know if I can help.

Thanks

Neal

Re: First Release Build 1.0.10

I didn't see a section for this in the Squid Squad area so I figured I would post this here. I am really happy this plugin was built as I had been testing the Apt-Get one and was about ready to use it for a client when they decided they were going to rebuild their 10 Linux servers on CentOS which me...

Re: Build 2.1.4 released

Sounds good. Is there a way to modify how the script is scheduled or can you tell me where it is applied? I have pretty much scanned everything now so if I can't modify the schedule I would be ok with disabling it altogether.

Re: Build 2.1.4 released

Is there a way to turn off the automated scripts or change how frequently they run. I have had some issues with them delaying other scripts as they run so often. I removed all the script schedules but they re-added themselves so I am not sure where it is being applied. I think having the information...

Re: Build 2.1.4 released

I found an issue with this plugin when I was doing some testing. The Powershell upgrade button works great from the agent but it automatically reboots the server after the update without warning.

I tested this on a couple 2008 R2 servers and it did it to both of them.

Re: Build 2.1.4 released

I have been doing some more testing on this and it seems to work well. Commands are still running as expected and the versions are showing. A couple things I have noticed which aren't necessarily issues. It used to say the extensions for Exchange and stuff were loaded when you open it on the compute...

Re: Build 2.1.4 released

It is working now, I guess just a matter of waiting for the initial scripts to run. It is really neat having the view of all the systems on that one page and being able to upgrade right from there is very cool. One thing that might be nice to add to that screen would be a column for the version of W...
